In November-December 2019, our brand ambassadors successfully showcased the mouth-watering Leonard’s Gourmet Gold Manuka Smoked Streaky Bacon to consumers in supermarkets around the North Island of New Zealand. Thirty-eight instore sampling sessions were undertaken over the campaign period.
Samples were cooked in store and the delicious aroma of freshly cooked bacon could be smelt throughout the entire supermarket! Each ambassador was equipped with a branded uniform and table. Customers enjoyed bite-sized samples of the bacon.
In the end, the conversion rate sat at 21% which is a great result for a premium product!
